Welcome to the official REACT UK Council website. We hope that you find our site of interest and that we give you an understanding of our objectives and organisational structure.

REACT UK, which is a uniformed organisation, is currently based in Dundee on the North East coast of Scotland, and has been chartered by REACT International since 2003.

REACT UK consists of units of dedicated men and woman drawn from all walks of life, trained to nationally recognised standards who use their expertise to support their community by providing Amateur (Ham) Radio, UHF / VHF / CB / PMR and VHF Marine radio communications and first aid cover at public events such as gala days, church fetes, cyclathons, athletic events, regatta's, boat club open days, fireworks displays, sponsored events, etc.

REACT UK also provide trained volunteers to assist the authorities in emergency situations such as flooding and community evacuations.

REACT UK offers our services to local authorities, community groups and charities free of charge.
